9 Days of tours around Agadir Morocco:
Day 1: Agadir Essaouira
After breakfast at your hotel, you will begin your tour to visit the city of Agadir, with its stunning beach and corniche, souks, kasbah and abundant historic cafes can be as busy or relaxed as you wish. After that, we head to Essaouira, a quiet coastal fishing village where you can explore the Phoenician, Berber, Portuguese, Jewish and French past in the well-preserved architecture, small lanes and charming medina. Walk through the quiet squares, look for handicraft shops and galleries, and observe the craftsmanship of the "tuya" wood only found in Morocco or head towards the port to check the catch of the day.
Day 2: Essaouira - Marrakech
Depart for Marrakech through the picturesque mainland road with the forest of Argan trees (sometimes with goats!) that only exist in this region of the world. Stop in the argan oil cooperatives along this relaxing walk. Night in Marrakech.
Day 3: Exploration - MARRAKECH
After breakfast at the Riad, you can start to explore Marrakech "the red city of Morocco". Your guide will make sure that you see the most important places of historical and cultural interest, including the Saadien Tombs; the palaces of El Bahia and El Badi and the school Coranique Ben Youssef. Lunch is in a restaurant near the square, then in the afternoon you will see the Majorelle gardens, the Menara and the Koutoubia tower. After dinner you will have the opportunity to walk around the "Jemaa El Fna square" complete with magicians, storytellers, snake charmers and food vendors.One night in a hotel or riad.
Day 4: Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes and Fez
Breakfast Ather your guide will pick you up to Casablanca City where you can visit the Mosque of Hassan II, the largest outside of Mecca and experience the coastal coastline of Cornwall. After, we will leave Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Here, you will be able to see the Hassan Tower, the Oudaya Kasbah before checking into your Riad in the heart of the Medina. Accommodation at our hotel / riad.
Day 5: Fez - Azrou - Middelt - rich - Imilchil
After breakfast, our trip will start at Middelt passing through Ifrane to Azrou which is covered by cedar forests where there are wild monkeys. So, we could take beautiful photos with them and lunch will be in Zaida or Middelt. After that, we will drive to the Ziz Valley through the Atlas Mountains and enjoy the Middelt landscapes. Then, we have the rich city ahead while exploring some Berber tribes that still live out there even from hard weather, we will arrive in Imilchil in the afternoon before checking into the Auberge Tislit hotel; for the beautiful lake of Tislit. Dinner, accommodation and breakfast.
Day 6: Todgha Imilchil Creek - Merzouga
After breakfast we will depart Imilchil to the Todgha Gorge, narrowest gorges in Morocco with panoramic views of the ancient Berber villages of mud overlooking the valley, lunch will be under the high red cliff of the gorge. Continuing the journey towards Erfoud and Rissani then through the black desert open to the village Merzouga where you will welcome us with a glass of mint tea before trekking your camels for about 1h30. Dinner and overnight in a Berber tent.
Day 7: Merzouga - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou
After taking a photo of the sunrise and having breakfast we go to camel-trekking back to the village of Merzouga. On our way you will not fail to appreciate the beauty of Erg Chebbi's spectacular dunes: - change with light as the day progresses. Arriving late tomorrow in Merzouga and after the shower in the hotel, we will leave Rissani - once Sijilmassa - the foundation of the Alaouita dynasty, the current ruling family. With most veiled women and hooded men, this is a very traditional Moroccan village. We will continue driving towards Agdez, through Alnif and Tazarine, lunch at N'koub before arriving at the fascinating Draa Valley on the edge of the Atlas Mountains, along which hundreds of lay Berber Kasbahs. Day 8: -Ait Ben Haddou - Taliouine - Taroudant
They leave from Ait Ben Haddou de Taroudant, descending towards Tazenakht, an important center of weaving of carpets. We will now be in saffron country! Stop at Taliouine and visit the Saffron Museum, or the time of your visit to the Saffron Harvest Festival in October. Continue to Taroudant. Accommodation in Taroudant.
Day 9: Taroudant - Agadir
After breakfast you can travel to the airport for your departure flight.
