2 Days From Fez to Desert and Marrakech:
DAY 1: FEZ -MIDELT - ERFOUD - RISSANI -DESIERTO MERZOUGA AND WALK IN CAMELLO
Departing from Fez, you will start your ascent through the Atlas mountains, passing through Ifrán, a winter style tourist resort that has nothing to do with the Moroccan built by the French in the 1930s. image of a Swiss people. Visit the cedar forest in Azrou and see the monkeys in the trees.
Most of the day will be spent on the winding road through the beautiful forests, springs, faces of its cut out rocks and Berber villages as it crosses the Atlas mountains and begins to descend into the desert of the Sahara. Halfway there, you will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks; then continue to Merzouga. On the road you will stop at a place with a panoramic view of a huge oasis of palm trees.
In Rissani you will switch to a 4x4 vehicle to drive in the desert. You will arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon around 5:00 pm, where your guide and the camels will be waiting for you. After a short break you will begin a camel ride through the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. See the desert landscape at sunset from the back of the camel, and after two hours, you will arrive at the camp in the desert to spend the night in a Berber tent. In their desert shelter, camels are handled and green tea with mint is served. After a dinner, watch the stars. Night in the tent.
DAY 2: MERZOUGA - RISSANI - TODRA'S GORGES - GARGANTAS DEL DADES - OUARZAZATE - MARRAKECH
As soon as you open the morning on your third day, you will contemplate a beautiful view of the sunrise as you prepare for the trip back to Merzouga. You can return to Marrakech by Ouarzazate, where you will enjoy a lunch (the visit to the Kasbah of the city and the movie studio will depend on the availability) before ending your trip in Marrakech.
