Day 1: TANGER- CHAOUEN.
Your guide and driver of DunasTour will be waiting for you at the port or airport of Tangier, to travel to Chaouen. There we will be lost in the streets of the "blue town". Chaouen, which in Berber means "the horns", is a beautiful city where the contrast of the white houses with the strong blue of its doors and windows, and the green contour that the river Lau offers. Day 2: CHAOUEN- ROMAN RUINS OF VOLUBILIS- MEKNES- FEZ.
After breakfast, we will head towards the Meknes, bordering the forest of Mamora. Arrival in Meknes, a city that reached its apogee thanks to Sultan Moulay Ismail. At 27 km from Meknes, you will find the ruins of the Roman city of Volubilis, and we will also visit the holy city of Moulay Idriss. We will end the day in the city of Fez, a World Heritage Site. Day 3: FEZ, HERITAGE OF HUMANITY.
During the morning, we will have the guided tour to the oldest of the imperial cities. Founded in 808 as the first political, religious and cultural capital. We begin the visit through the golden doors of the Royal Palace. Later, from a high point of the city, we will observe the wall that encloses an ancient and impressive medina, which we will then walk on foot experiencing the hundreds of sensations that it awakens. We will discover mosques, madrasas and religious places until we reach the quarter of the tanners, leather workers and artisans. They brought their knowledge from Spain and have maintained the art and style of Andalusia to this day, giving Fez the well-deserved name of the city of artisans. At the end, you will have the rest of the afternoon free. Bed and breakfast in the hotel or riad.
Day 4: FEZ- IFRANE- AZROU- VALLE DEL ZIZ- ERFOUD- MERZOUGA.
After breakfast, we will travel to the desert of Merzouga. We will make our first stop to visit the city of Ifrane, known as the "Moroccan Switzerland", a favorite place for lovers of snow sports. Later, we will reach the cedar forests of the city of Azrou, in the Middle Atlas. Mandatory stop to see the monkeys in freedom. We will cross the Tizi Talghemt port, at an altitude of 1,907 m. The relief is impressive. Arrival in Errachidia by the crossing of the Tafilalt massif, to the palm grove of Erfud, the Ziz Valley. Finally, we will continue our way along a track road to reach Merzouga, the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Free time to walk through the dunes or watch the sunset. Dinner and overnight at the hotel or riad.
Day 5: MERZOUGA- KHAMLIA- MFISS- DUNAS DE ERG CHEBBI.
This will be a stage, where after breakfast, we will visit one of the old tracks of the "Rally Paris-Dakar". We will visit the nomads of the desert, the village of Khmalia, known as the village of the blacks, former slaves from Mali, famous for their music. We will also visit the mines of Khol de Mfiss and the abandoned village. In the afternoon, we will start the dromedary excursion, which will take us to spend the night in the heart of the desert, in typical Berber jaima camps. We will enjoy a wonderful dinner under the stars of the desert, accompanied by the music of drums.
Day 6: MERZOUGA- RISSANI- OUARZAZATE.
On the camel back and after breakfast, we will start the day visiting the city of Rissani, its market and its famous donkey parking. It is a unique place where all the tribes and peoples of the desert go to stock up. Lunch in the village of Alnif, to continue way to the city of Ouarzazate. Dinner and accommodation in the riad.
Day 7: OUARZAZATE- KASBAH TAOURIRT- KASBAH AIT BEN HADDOU-MARRAKECH.
Visit of the city of Ouarzazate, the cinema studios and the Kasbah de Taourirt, residence of the antiquity Pacha of Marrakech. At 27 km from the city of Ouarzazate, we will detour by a small track to reach the village of Ait Ben Haddou. Visit to the Kasbah, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1987. We will cross the High Atlas by the port of Tizi n'Tichka, with 2,260 m of altitude. Stop in panoramic numbers to contemplate the stillness of the Berber mountain villages and the highest peaks of the mountain range. In the afternoon, arrival at the "red city" of Marrakech. Day 8: MARRAKECH.
Day to visit the city, starting with the gardens of Menara and its pond, the Saiidi tombs, where the remains of the founders of the city are buried, the Bahia palace, residence of the former Vizier, the Koutobia with its splendid minaret, end our visit at the famous Jmaa el Fna square, during the day an impressive souk and at night a magical spectacle. Bed and breakfast in the hotel or riad.
Day 9: MARRAKECH.
Free day to visit the city, walk through the medina, lose yourself in its narrow streets and discover the souks of artisans. Bed and breakfast in the hotel or riad.
Day 10: MARRAKECH- ESSAOUIRA.
After breakfast, on the way to the argan trees, we will arrive at the city of Essaouira, the Atlantic coast, perhaps one of the most charming cities in Morocco. Also known as the "city of the wind", a favorite place for numerous international surfers. Essaouira has served as a source of inspiration to numerous writers and artists. Perfect to walk around your medina and eat fresh fish in the port. Bed and breakfast in the hotel or riad.
Day 11: ESSAOUIRA- EL JADIDA- CASABLANCA.
After breakfast, departure to Casablanca by El Jadida. We will make a stop to visit the city of Oualidia. Arrival in Casablanca, the largest and most industrialized city in the country. Visit the famous Hassan II Mosque, the only one open to the public for the "non-faithful", built in marble and with views of the Atlantic coast. Bed and breakfast in the riad.
Day 12: CASABLANCA- TANGER.
Departure from Casablanca towards the city of Tangier. Free afternoon to enjoy its wonderful views of the Mediterranean, to know its medina and to pass through the new zone. Bed and breakfast in the riad.
Day 13: TANGER.
At the indicated time, transfer to the port or airport. End of our services.
